Contributor guides

Everything you need to register, shoot strong media, and understand how the jury scores your uploads.

1. Registration and OTP verification

You do not need to download an app. Open the portal on any phone browser, fill your details once, and verify your mobile number with a one-time code.

  1. 1Tap Get Started and read the upload guidelines.
  2. 2Choose who you are (customer, dealer/dealer staff, FAC, influencer, or Swaraj team).
  3. 3Enter your name, state, district, village, dealer, tractor model, and activity.
  4. 4Enter a 10-digit mobile number. The OTP is sent on WhatsApp first.
  5. 5Type the 6-digit code. If WhatsApp is delayed, tap “Send code by SMS” for the same digits.
  6. 6After verify, upload or capture your media, accept consent, and submit.

OTP tips

  • Use the same number every time so your details and past uploads come back automatically.
  • Check WhatsApp first. SMS is optional and uses the same code.
  • If nothing arrives, wait for the timer, then resend on WhatsApp — or request SMS.
  • Too many wrong attempts locks the number briefly for security — wait for the cooldown, then try again.

2. Video shooting and upload guide

Strong uploads show a real Swaraj tractor at work in clear daylight. Steady framing and genuine field context score higher with the jury.

What works well

  • Swaraj tractor clearly visible — model and branding easy to spot
  • Working in the field: ploughing, tilling, harvesting, or a dealer / brand activity
  • Steady handheld or mounted shot; keep the whole machine in frame when you can
  • Natural light; film outdoors when possible
  • Short clips that tell one clear moment (customer story, demo, or field activity)

What gets rejected or scored low

  • Blurry, dark, or very shaky media
  • No Swaraj product in the frame / irrelevant content
  • Heavy edits, stock clips, or misleading staging
  • Duplicate uploads of the same media

Upload limits

  • Up to 10 photos and 3 videos per submission.
  • Photos up to about 25 MB; videos up to about 500 MB.
  • You can upload existing files or capture live from the camera.
  • Keep the page open while uploading — on a slow network it continues and resumes if the connection drops.
  • After submit you get a WhatsApp (and email, if provided) acknowledgement.

3. Jury scoring and evaluation guide

After you submit, the review team scores each piece of media on four dimensions. Each dimension is marked from 1 to 5. The total is out of 20.

Video quality (1–5)

Sharpness, exposure, stability, resolution, and framing.

Brand relevance (1–5)

Swaraj product visible and prominent, correct model, on-brand context.

Video content and story (1–5)

Human interest, emotion, and a moment worth publishing.

Authenticity (1–5)

Genuine field context — unedited and consistent with place and time.

Bands (media score)

  • Platinum (17–20) — Campaign-ready. Routed to the creative team quickly.
  • Gold (14–16) — Usable with light edit. Goes into the active campaign pool.
  • Silver (11–13) — Archive / secondary or regional use.
Your contributor level uses the average of your best scores. Keep uploading clear, on-brand field media to move toward Gold and Platinum. Tips from reviewers appear on My contributions.
